Well, I don't really know what to put here yet or that I will start and not be able to stop lol I had my first child when i was a few months shy of 18. It was the scariest thing at the time I think for any teenager to go through. Maybe if I had a "normal" mom at the time that would have explained things to me I would have known what to expect during childbirth but then thats a whole other story.
I lived at home until I was almost 19 and then me and my boyfriend (now hubby) moved out together to start some wonderful blissful happy life....yeaaa right. Being an "adult" isn't all it's cracked up to be sometimes. All the responsibilities plus the fact that we were both young and had a child to raise was rough. We have been through a lot in 19 1/2 years , but 6 kids and 19 1/2 years later we are still here together and going strong. Of course we have our ups and downs but out of probably half of our friends we had from high school we haven't even thought of divorce ever. A few non-speaking days maybe through the years but it all works out in the end. I always tease him that he would never leave me because he couldn't afford to pay the child support lol .
We live in a smaller country town in southeastern Ohio. We moved here almost 9 years ago to get our kids away from the city life. They still tend to find trouble though even here. Teenagers ......uugghh If I can make it through the oldest 3 the younger 3 better watch out lol I will be a tougher mom on them or so tired out from the first 3 that they will have it easier , not sure which way it will go yet.
My oldest will be graduating in about a month, Yay!! She is giving me gray hairs though turning me into a grandma at the age of 36, well 37 by the time the baby comes along. I am glad that she is over 18 though and almost out of school. I feel that is an accomplishment in this day and age in itself. She does plan to go on to college just taking a few classes here and there after the baby is born so I hope that will stay the plan.
Well, I guess i took the route of starting and not being able to stop on this post lol Getting late and need to get up early so will write some more tomorrow.
