My nutty life .

 weekend

Hope all of you mom's had a great Mother's day yesterday!! I had a great weekend. Hubby took me away on Saturday and we went to Wheeling, WVA for the night. Only about 2 hours from where we live in Ohio but far enough away I could relax and have some peace and quiet. We got a motel room and went to the big Cabella's sporting goods store. 175,000 square feet of store. My legs were so tired lol. We spent all together a little over 4 hours in that store looking around. over 2 hours the first time, then went and checked in at hotel then back again for over 2 more hours.

After that shopping spree we went out to eat and back to the hotel for a little us time. It was great we had a blast. Then on Mother's day we came back in the morning and last night we took the kids and went out to eat.

I feel much more relaxed and less stressed then I did last week. I think I was actually making myself sick last week and was so depressed thinking about everything. The household bills, the kids, my mother, my oldest daughters pregnancy, her graduating in a few weeks. We definately need to go and do that more often for ourselves I think or we will be no good for the kids if we get run down.

But today , back to the house cleaning lol my kid's tryed while I was gone but still a mess lol

Here are a few pictures of the suspension bridge we went across the Ohio river on and a few shots inside Cabela's. It is an awesome store if you are an outside type person. The animal displays are indescribable as to how real they make them seem.

 Dreary Thursday.......

Been reading blogs on and off all day .... Been a lazy day just now got dressed a bit ago and it's after 3pm....Oh well, that's just the type of mood I have been in for a few days. The ohh well mood. The house needs cleaned, Oh well. Your mom is calling, Ohh well. Hate when I get like this. It's like I have absolutely no energy. Need to go to the grocery store cause we have nothing for dinner. My mother called from the nursing home with her list of shit she wants from the store.

That's getting old really quick. That woman never bent over backwards a day in her life for me. What gives her the right to ask it of me. I am a mother and a wife I can not be there for her every beck and call. But I'm the type of person that knows right from wrong and I know what I'm doing is the right thing, that I'm doing what should be done, like it or not.

Hopefully someday my kids will see what I did for my "mother" and they will be willing to take care of me without bitching. There's 6 of them for God's sake one of them better do right lol

Well , off to the store. Ohhhh freaking well!!!!!!!!!

 The things I wish I could say.......

I never understood why you treated me like you did. Did I deserve it? I don't think I did. Did you resent me? I think you did. But do you realize what you did to an innocent child that just wanted to be loved and acknowledged? Do you know what you did to her self-esteem ? I don't think you do. They say it was just the alcohol doing it all. But is that really an excuse? I don't think so. But then I have never had to walk in your shoes and live the life you chose for yourself. I have never had to get up and face myself in the mirror each day hating myself, because I think that's what you did. Why else would someone do the things you did to yourself ? Do you care anymore about me now then when I was small? I don't think you do. I think you do realize though that I am the only one you have now. That you have to be dependent on me now. I'm not the one that has to make peace with myself, you are, and I hope that one day you will be able to do that. I'm sorry you had to miss out on some wonderful times we could have had. I'm sorry that I made you so mad you felt the need to lash out at me both physically and mentally. But whatever I did, I didn't mean to. I tryed to be quiet, to be good, to make you happy. I tryed to do what I thought was right, but somehow I always ended up being terribly wrong. You were right there to point that out to me. Forgive and forget. Three words that make up a mouthful. One day I may be able to forgive but I will never forget what it was like growing up with a mother that was there all the time , but not there for me. And I will never understand it all, not if I live to be 100 , how a mother could have acted like you did being a mother myself.

I wish I had the guts to actually say these things to her, but she would laugh and say I'm nuts , that she was a fine mother.

 Kid Jokes :)

HAVE A GOOD DAY EVERYONE.

A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales.

The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was very small.

The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale.

Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible.

The little girl said, "When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah".

The teacher asked, "What if Jonah went to hell?"

The little girl replied, "Then you ask him ".

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A Kindergarten teacher was observing her classroom of children while they were drawing. She would occasionally walk around to see each child's work.
As she got to one little girl who was working diligently, she asked what the drawing was.
The girl replied, "I'm drawing God."
The teacher paused and said, "But no one knows what God looks like."
Without missing a beat, or looking up from her drawing, the girl replied, "They will in a minute."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A Sunday school teacher was discussing the Ten Commandments with her five and six year olds.

After explaining the commandment to "honor" thy Father and thy Mother, she asked, "Is there a commandment that teaches us how to treat our brothers and sisters?"

Without missing a beat one little boy (the oldest of a family) answered, "Thou shall not kill."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head.
She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked, "Why are some of your hairs white, Mom?"
Her mother replied, "Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white."
The little girl thought about this revelation for a while and then said, "Momma, how come ALL of grandma's hairs are white?"
The children had all been photographed, and the teacher was trying to persuade them each to buy a copy of the group picture.
"Just think how nice it will be to look at it when you are all grown up and say, 'There's Jennifer, she's a lawyer,' or 'That's Michael, He's a doctor.'
A small voice at the back of the room rang out, "And there's the teacher, she's dead."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A teacher was giving a lesson on the circulation of the blood. Trying to make the matter clearer, she said, "Now, class, if I stood on my head, the blood, as you know, would run into it, and I would turn red in the face."

"Yes," the class said.

"Then why is it that while I am standing upright in the ordinary position the blood doesn't run into my feet?"

A little fellow shouted,
"Cause your feet ain't empty."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note, and posted on the apple tray:
"Take only ONE. God is watching."
Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies.
A child had written a note, "Take all you want. God is watching the apples.
 Womanhood
Womanhood .....
BEHIND EVERY
SUCCESSFUL WOMAN
IS HERSELF
A WOMAN IS LIKE A TEA BAG...
YOU DON'T KNOW HOW STRONG
SHE IS UNTIL YOU PUT HER
IN HOT WATER
I HAVE YET TO HEAR A MAN
ASK FOR ADVICE ON HOW
TO COMBINE MARRIAGE
AND A CAREER
COFFEE, CHOCOLATE, MEN.
SOME THINGS ARE JUST
BETTER RICH
I'M OUT OF ESTROGEN
And I HAVE A GUN
WARNING: I HAVE AN ATTITUDE
AND I KNOW HOW TO USE IT
OF COURSE I DON'T LOOK BUSY...
I DID IT RIGHT
THE FIRST TIME
DO NOT START WITH ME.
YOU WILL NOT WIN
ALL STRESSED OUT
AND NO ONE TO CHOKE
And last but not least:
IF YOU WANT BREAKFAST IN BED,
SLEEP IN THE KITCHEN
(A friend of mine e-mailed this to me thought it was cute)
