My nutty life .

 Last night

Well, had an interesting night last night. My son, the 16 yr old, decided he wanted to be disrespectful to me after I said he couldn't go swimming because he was grounded. I thought the fight was over after I left to run to pick something up for dinner and his dad had came outside and told him enough was enough. When I got home about 30 minutes later I was greeted at the car door by another one of my kids telling me that my son had took off.

Apparently him and his father had continued to have words and he was up in my hubby's face , hubby told him to go to his room , he told him no, was up in hubbys face, stepping up to him as hubby put it , and hubby told him to leave. He told me it came to him telling him to leave or he was afraid there was going to be a physical fight.

Well after dinner I was needing to run out of town to pick up a layaway with a pool in it that I bought for the kid's for this summer. I had to go or it was going to be put back today. So as I was leaving to pick it up my oldest daughter went looking for her brother for me. She found him right over at a friend's house and told him to come back home that we were gone to the store and he said he wasn't coming home and that he had a place to stay for the night.

After I got back I had figured he might have been back home but nope. So I took his picture and went off to the police station. I told them where he had been seen last and they asked me if I had went and talked to his friend. I chuckled and said If you were a teenager would you rat out your friend ?? He said well if I thought something could happen to him I would. My daughter was with me and she said I wouldn't tell anything, I said exactly my point. So he said he would follow me down to the boys house and talk to the boys parents.

Me and my daughter were joking around as we drove to the boy's house that what if I got pulled over while he was following me for speeding or something. Well, a minute later his lights and siren went on behind me!!!!! My stomach just dropped, I thought now there is no way in hell I was doing anything lol If anything I was for the first time going under the speedlimit ...... I pulled over he pulled up behind and got out..... he asked if I had seen the kid riding through the gas station parking lot and could it have been my son. I didn't see who it was but he was on the wrong kind of bike from what the cop told me.

We got to the boy's house where he was earlier and that boy was already in bed. The boy's mom apparently knew that my son had been there and that he had ran off from home.......Ok , she didn't tell him he should come home ?????
She said he had left about 2 hours prior and had no idea where he went. Next thin I know I hear a girl yelling my name. She ran over and said she knew where my son was. He was over on the trails...a little patch of woods where the kids have bike trails to ride on.....and that he was over there with some other kids and they had a fire built. The cop said to let him go first and he pulled to the end of the entrance to the trailer park where we were and had shut his lights off so as not to warn the kdis back there....the trails were basicaly over and across the street from the trailer park. He got out and walked down the street and into the patch of woods and motioned for me to wait.

Next thing I know here he comes out of the woods with 4 kids. I knew one was mine even though it was dark and I couldn't see faces. My son didn't know I was waiting just right down the street and had already given the officer his description so he lied as to what his name was. The officer sent the 4 kids walking down to the cop car and he proceeded into the trails. My son and I had some words and by this time I was really aggravated at the whole thing so I asked Mr. Attitude are you going to come home or are you going to Juvenile tonight. He said Juvenile, I said fine you made your choice.

The officer finally came out of the trails and had my son's bike and 2 t-shirts. He didn't look too happy when he got to his car, and told my son to get his ass in the back of the car for lying to him.
Apparently when asked their names my son lied as to who he was and 2 of the other 3 kids went along with it. Well, the officer gave the other 3 kids a lecture on obstructing justice and blah blah blah and then he let them go on home.

He then dealt with my son..... gave it to him good for lying to him, about him being only 16 and having to listen to his mom and dad , told him untill you are 18 and out of your parents house they make the rules you follow them. He used some choice words and I think did a really good job for a cop in this town.....He put it all to him in a matter of fact way, asked him if he wanted to go home tonight or jail and son told him he wanted to go home. He had him get out of the car and apologize to me and then I made im turn around and apologize to the offcier for lying.

He came home , went upstairs to his room , and that was that for last night. I told hubby just to let it be for now. He will continue to be grounded obviously.

And that was my night I tell you what, if it wasn't for my kids I think I would lead a boring life They certainly know how to keep me on my toes!!!

Dear grandson,

I would like to welcome you to this world
Before you even get here.
I would like to give you all the love I have,
And take away everything you will ever fear.

I wish for you only the good things,
Though I know the bad will come.
I can only be here for you when that happens,
And try to take away some.

I will always be just a call away,
When you are having a good or bad day.
You will always be able to count on me ,
My advice will always be free.

The world can be a hurtful place,
But grandma's will always stay safe.
For as long as I live on this earth,
Please know this grandson, you will be forever loved.
