My nutty life .

 :)

I'm passing this on to all the people who have made a difference in my life and I thank you for caring, loving and being there when needed. Love ya all.

1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.

2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.

3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America.

4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.

5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winner for best actor and actress.

6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners.

How did you do?

The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday. These are no second-rate achievers. They are the best in their fields. But the applause dies. Awards tarnish. Achievements are forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners .

Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one:

1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.

2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.

3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.

4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special.

5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with .

Easier?

The lesson: The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards. They are the ones that care .

Pass this on to those people who have made a difference in your life.

"Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia " (Charles Schultz)

 :)

Someone sent this to me in an e-mail with a beautiful powerpoint slide show. I don't know how to put it here but here is the rest.

The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on the porch and swing with, never say a wors, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing untill it arrives.

Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they'll love you back! Don't expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in their heart but if it doesn't be content it grew in yours. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.

Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart smile.

May you soon have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, enough hope to make you happy.

Always put yourself in others' shoes. If you fell that it hurts you, it probably hurts the other person, too.

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

Happiness lies for those who cry, those who hurt, those who have searched, and those who have tried, for only they can appreciate the importance of people who have touched their lives.

When you were born you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.

 From the back row ......

There was a preacher whose wife was expecting

a baby, so he went before his congregation to ask for a raise.

After much discussion, They passed a
rule that whenever the preacher's family expanded,
so would his paycheck.

After six children, this
started to get expensive and the Congregation
decided to hold another meeting to discuss the
preacher's salary.

There was much yelling and
bickering about how much the clergyman's additional
children were costing the church.

Finally, the Preacher got up and spoke to the crowd, "Children
are a gift from God," he said. Silence fell on the assembled crowd.

In the back pew , a little old lady stood up and in her
frail voice said, "Rain is a gift from God, too, but when
we get too much of it, we wear rubbers."

And the Congregation said, "Amen."

 Send a card of thanks!

I sent a card of thanks, this is wonderful. I hope you will all send a card to thank our servicemen and women and let them know they are in our prayers and we send our love and gratitude. Love ya all.

If you go to this website,

http://www.letssaythanks.com

you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent
to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq.

You can’t pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed
services.

How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!!

It is FREE and it only takes a second.

Wouldnt it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you
are for or against the war, our guys and gals over there need to know we are
behind them...
