O.k, most of us have had or have been to baby showers. O.k, maybe not the guys sorry lol But I am in need of ideas for games for a baby shower that I am going to hold for my daughter in the next few weeks. Yep, it's getting down to that time!!!

Please, if any of you know of any games or web sites that have ideas for games please let me know so I can start getting ready for this event. I've had my own of course and been to others, but never have had to plan one uuggghh lol

Wow, I just went back and read the rest of the posts over at Mr. Whit's blog on all 3 that are dealing with the same subject and that were posted after I had been there. A lot of answers had brought up the current healthcare or lack of that might put someone in a situation like this. If you haven't read his last few posts I would suggest taking a trip over to Whit's Whittlings. He really knows how to get you thinking :)

Now, I'm not dying, but I am in a situation where my teeth, what I have left of them, are in very bad shape. My husband works, so we aren't lazy selfish people living off of welfare and others. I do side jobs here and there when I can but have always thought it was my place to be at home and raise my kids. Once they are all in school then yes, I will think of getting a regular job. Anyways, we get a health card for the time being since we can't afford health care on his income right now. They won't just pay for everything and I do have to have a co-payment on visits. One thing they won't just cover is dentures. I bought my own upper partial many, many years ago and they are literally worn out. I am in desperate need of an upper denture and now a lower partial. I live my day to day life on how much pain I am in that day from the teeth that need rid of. Some nights I don't sleep much and I think I should own stock in the ibuprofen and orajel companies.
My dentist had put in for an approval for the healthcard to cover the denture and partial I need. I have waited over 2 monthes for an answer. They surely were in no rush. I was turned down with reason being - Teeth are too diseased for this action. Now, HOW STUPID IS THAT? Of course they are diseased, DUHHHH, that's why I need the denture you idiots!!!!!!! We know a family that the wife and the husband are on social security. Apparently they are too dingy to work(I see not much wrong with them at all) so they get the money , the healthcard, the foodstamps, everything. And guess what , he gets a new denture and veneers for his teeth. He was approved the other day. What makes him any better then me to recieve the treatment he needs? Do they put names in a hat? I am sitting here in pain as I type this and I'm furious the more I think about it and saddened that some poeple just aren't good enough apparently to get the help they need. I would even gladly pay them back whatever it costs. They could think of it as a loan.
The senior citizens who can't afford their medications for the month, the people that have cancer or other serious diseases, the people with sick children. What the hell is the world coming to when we won't take care of our own? What is wrong with the government ?

Sorry had to vent a little Part of it might not even make sense and I'm sorry but it's what I felt like getting out take it or leave it.

All I can say is WOW !
