Well, Monday yet again. The weekend goes by wayyyy toooo fast. Although Mondays aren't horribly awful for me because that means that the kids go back to school and my house will be put back to "normal" from the weekend. For some reason I didn't want to see hubby go off to work this morning and wished he could have stayed home but that won't pay the bills.

Had my daughter's baby shower Saturday and Lord was I glad when it was over!!! We had a great time, loads of presents for the baby, everyone laughed and ate, we played lots of games, but I was worn out afterwards lol . There was a house full to say the least!! There were 13 kids there whewwwwww what a mess there was when everyone left!!! I'm so glad we had it at her house!!

I stayed behind for a little bit and helped to pick up some and then I left her sister there with her to clean up the rest. I had to get home with the leftovers cause hubby and father-in-law were starving back at my house.

Now we just have to wait for Colton to get here. I hope this last month goes by as fast as the rest has. Of course once he gets here let's slow the time down so we can enjoy him!!


Hope everyone had a great weekend. It rained here a bit but yesterday, although a little windy, turned into a great fall day! I love the smells and the coolness. Wish it could stay like this all year long. I wouldn't mind a bit!

Well, I have been busy here lately it seems more so then usual. Hubby and I have been spending more time together, I've been getting ready for my daughter's baby shower this Saturday, and the list goes on and on. So if I haven't been by some of your blogs I'm really sorry :( . Hopefully I will be catching up on them as soon as I can.

My youngest started preschool today :) He was so excited, he wanted to go out and wait on the bus like 30 minutes early lol He hopped right on the bus and I had to say Hey, where's my kiss lol I'm glad he was so excited to go though and didn't stop to think he wouldn't be with me for a few hours. My little boy is growing up :( waaaaaaahhh.

Ohh, my grandson will be making his appearance in about a month and he finally has a name!!!! I thought the poor thing was just going to be called "the baby" for the rest of his life lol But, the name is Colton James. I think it's just tooo cute , but then of course I'm grandma and would think any name would be cute lol Well, while I have no little ones under foot I'm going to get things done around here and maybeeee even sneak off to the grocery store without any kids!!!! WOW!!!

A couple married and had 13 children. Her husband died.
She married again and had 7 more children. Her second husband died.
She married again and had 5 more children. Her third husband died. And,
alas, she finally died, too.
At her funeral and standing by her coffin, the preacher prayed for her. He
thanked the Lord for this very loving woman and said, "Lord, they're
finally together."
One mourner leaned over and quietly asked her friend, "Do you think he
means her first, second or third husband?" The friend replied, "I think he
means her legs."

A teacher gave her fifth grade class an assignment: Get their parents
to tell hem a story with a moral at the end of it.

The next day the kids came back and 1 by 1 began to tell their stories.

"Johnny, do you have a story to share?"

"Yes ma'am. My daddy told a story about my Aunt Barbara. She was a
marine pilot in Desert Storm and her plane got hit.

She had to bail out over enemy territory and all she had was a flask of
Whiskey, a pistol and a survival knife.

She drank the whiskey on the way down so it wouldn't break and then her
parachute landed right in the middle of twenty enemy troops. She shot
fifteen of them with the gun until she ran out of bullets, killed four
more with the knife, till the blade broke, and then she killed the last
Iraqi with her bare hands."

"Good Heavens" said the horrified teacher. "What kind of moral did your
daddy tell you from this horrible story?"

"Stay the f-ck away from Aunt Barbara when she's drinking."

Bill Clinton, Al Gore, and George W. Bush went to a fitness spa for some
fun.

After a stimulating, healthy lunch, all three decided to visit the men's
room and they found a strange-looking gent sitting at the entrance.

He said: "Welcome to the gentlemen's room. Be sure to check out our newest
feature, a mirror that, if you look into it and say something truthful, you
will be rewarded with your wish. But, be warned: if you say something
false, you will be sucked into the mirror to live in a void of nothingness
for all eternity!"

The three men quickly entered and upon finding the mirror, Bill Clinton
stepped up and said, "I think I'm the most intelligent of us three," and he
suddenly found the keys to a brand new Bentley in his hands.
Al Gore stepped up and said, "I think I'm the most ambitious of us three,"
and in an instant, he was surrounded by a pile of money to fund his next
Presidential Campaign.

Excited over the possibility of having a wish come true, George W. Bush
looked into the mirror and said, "I think...," and was promptly sucked into
the mirror.
